Imma try something new here. It’ll be a collab between me and you—the reader. I want to do a comic style full article, minimal writing in between, and have you weaving examples in your head as we go. Onwards…
First, a breakdown of the components of confidence

Where confidence is proportional to you perceived likelihood of success:

Said differently, how likely you think you are to succeed.
But let’s change wordings one more time for clarity.

Ah that makes more sense. Self-belief. And if you had to pick one over the other:

Because the man or woman that has the skillset of being able to figure things out is way better than the Way Forward guy.
Next Level of Breakdown

How much confidence do you need to take action? And what form of confidence do you need?

But…
Sometimes it’s not about the confidence to fail—it’s about the risk of failing. “Risk”, we’ll define as the consequences (good/bad) to succeeding or failing. Real risks have real consequences that hurt but some consequences are reversable with effort and time so make sure that is weighed in too.

Action Items/Questions
- What would it take for you to believe in yourself more?
- What skills or knowledge would give you the confidence to move forward?
Remember, not having all of the answers is part of the puzzle.
Enjoy the journey ๐ค
