The Impossible List
What is an impossible list?
Stealing this idea from Thomas Frank who in turn stole it from Joel Runyon, an impossible list is an ever-growing list of high, hard goals that you wish to achieve. I’ll break out everything below into categories and keep things up to date for you! I imagine the progress made here will turn into articles later on. Gotta document the new discoveries and lessons learned.

Professional / Skill Goals
- Become fluent in German (B2 level)
- Become fluent in Spanish (B2 level)
Fitness
- Improve my Zone 2 cardio to the point where I can run a 7 min/mile pace for 5 miles without breaking 130 bpm. This will pay many dividends later on.
- Complete a triathlon
- Run an Ironman
- Run a Spartan Race
- Achieve 200+ snatches on the 10 min. kettlebell snatch test
- Tame the Beast: with the 106lb kettlebell, complete a static military press, a pullup, and a pistol squat
- Complete 30 Unbroken pullups
- Complete 100 Unbroken pullups
- Complete a one-arm pullup
- Complete 5 free standing handstand pushups
Professional Goals
- Give a talk to a room of more than 200 people
- Give a TEDx talk
- Make $1 from a coaching business ($0 to $1 is quite difficult…) [Ground Zero: April 28th, 2024]
- Train an intern
- Get 3 paying clients
- Create an online course on how to achieve a state of flow more often.
Website Goals
- Gain 50 Subscribers to the Newsletter
- Get 1 subscriber who is an absolute stranger
- Publish 10 articles
- Put up a page with T-shirt designs that have some of my favorite reminders
